If you're experiencing pain or ongoing health issues in the New Orleans area and beyond, herbal medicine and acupuncture with Grassroots Herbs can help. During your one-hour consultation with Sarah Welch, doctor of Chinese medicine, we will chat about your case, and spend time doing acupuncture, bodywork, and/or custom herbal medicine. Whatever will get you better the fastest!
Our Services
Acupuncture & Bodywork
Healing happens from both the inside and out. During your consultation, Sarah blends acupuncture, hands-on therapies like massage and qigong, and herbal medicine to relieve pain, restore balance, and help you feel better—naturally and effectively.
Custom Herbal Medicine
Herbal prescriptions begin with whole, dried plants. You’ll receive a custom blend of bulk herbs to make “tea” at home. We use whole plants because less processing makes better medicine at cheaper prices.

Your in-person consultation will include a thorough conversation and a clear treatment plan to solve your concerns. You will receive a custom herbal prescription and a short acupuncture treatment as time allows.
Virtual Consultation
Not in New Orleans? Contact Sarah to discuss your best options. She will refer you to a trusted colleague if there is one in your area. If not, we may schedule an online consultation.

The consultation is one hour long.

In person consultations are $115 for the first appointment, then $85 for follow-ups.
Online consultations are $80 for the first appointment, then $60 for follow-ups.
